PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the resolution of image effectively and easily variable through small computation processing. SOLUTION: At a step S21, it is judged whether or not inputted image data are in image made, and when it is judged that the data are in the image mode, one-dimensional vertical image refreshing processing is carried out at a step S22. At a step S23, one-dimensional horizontal refreshing processing is performed. At a step S24, fast vertical up-sampling processing is carried out. At a step S25, fast horizontal sampling processing is carried out. Consequently, the image refreshing processing is performed before the up-sampling processing, thus the number of pixels as objects of the one-dimensional vertical image refreshing processing and one-dimensional horizontal image refreshing processing can be suppressed and the computation processing quantity is reducible. |
