PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which allows a transparent intermediate layer to be formed in a uniform thickness and allows a mother die pattern having a rugged pattern which is disposed on a stamper to be exactly transferred to the transparent intermediate layer in the production of a multilayer optical information medium in which a plurality of information recording layers are laminated via the transparent intermediate layer comprising resin and the rugged pattern retaining information on the surface of the transparent intermediate layer exists. SOLUTION: This producing method of optical information medium comprises a first coating process of forming a first resin layer on a substrate by means of a spin-coat method, a second coating process of forming a second resin layer by performing spin-coating while holding resin between the first resin layer and the stamper and obtaining a resin laminate consisting of both of the resin layers, a hardening process of forming the transparent intermediate layer by irradiating the resin laminate with active energy rays and hardening the same, a stripping process of stripping the stamper from the transparent intermediate layer and a laminating process of forming other information recording layers on the transparent intermediate layer. |
