PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network storage type video camera system which enables the real-time storage of moving picture data and also enables to restore the complete image data on a server. SOLUTION: The network storage type video camera system comprises a camera terminal device for generating moving picture data, a network, and a moving picture storage server connected to the camera terminal device via the network. The camera terminal device converts the generated moving picture data into packets, and transmits the packets to the moving picture storage server in real time. The moving picture storage server stores the received packets, and notifies the camera terminal device of the information about the received packets. Based on the notified information about the received packets, the camera terminal device supplies packets slipped out during transmission to the moving picture storage server at the end of the real time transmission of the packets. |
