PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for providing images which offers a site picture with its peculiarities to an image recipient. SOLUTION: A system is equipped with a mobile telephone 1a that transmits a site information mail 21, which stores the site data for the mobile telephone, to an image-providing device 2. The image-providing device 2, which receives the site information mail, transmits a return mail 39, which stores a thumbnail image being generated according to the site information mail 21, to the mobile telephone 1a. The mobile telephone 1a transmits a selected image mail 22, which stores a piece of pictures selected from the thumbnails, to the image providing device. The image-providing device 2 transmits an image mail 40, which stores the pictures selected on the basis of the selected results, to a mobile telephone 1b after the device receives the selected image mail 22.
