PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronizing method for a radio-date system which can synchronize at a high speed. SOLUTION: This synchronization system at automatic switching to the substitutional frequency of an FM receiver in a radio-data system possesses a step of recording data arrangement of a total of twenty six bits, including producing of data of check word + offset word, from the PI code of a tuning network station that it is receiving or the program identification code of an EON station and connecting it to the last of the above program identification code or the data arrangement of a total of twenty six bits in the block A of the radio-data system from a broadcasting station that it is receiving, as data for check, in a memory device, a step of recording the received data being received in asynchronous state of the radio-data system in the order in the memory device, a step of reading out the data for check recorded in the memory device and the arrangement for twenty-six bits of the received data out of the above memory device, while sliding them bit by bit and comparing them with each other one by one, thereby determining whether they match each other, and a step of establishing the synchronization, with the data arrangement of twenty six bits concerned as block A, in case of matching. |
