PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a stable developing nip that is free from uneven pressure. SOLUTION: The photoreceptor drum 11 has a substrate made of a flexible, thin, and tubular member, a magnetic substance layer formed on the substrate, a conductive layer formed on the magnetic substance layer, and a photoreceptor layer 24 formed on the conductive layer. A developing roller 33 has a roller 35 made of a permanent magnet. The magnetic substance layer is attracted to the roller 35 by the magnetic force of the roller 35. Thus, the developing roller 33 and the photoreceptor drum 11 are axially pressed to each other over the entire length at specific pressure without a gap between the photoreceptor layer 24 and the roller 35. |
