PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device and an image forming device which prevent a developer from leaking (scattering) through gaps between end parts of a shaking developer carrier and a developing device main body. SOLUTION: The developing device has first and second developer carriers 20 and 30 close to each other and has the second developer carrier 30 supported in the vicinities of both end parts in the direction of its rotation axis through independent shaking members 31 and 31, which can be shaken around a shaft 20b of the first developer carrier 20, and is provided with a pressure means 39 which energizes the shaking members 31 toward an image carrier. In this developing device, a magnetic field is generated closely along a partial peripheral surface in the vicinity of the end parts in the direction of the rotation axis of at least the second developer carrier 30, and a developer seal member 2d which seals the developer leaked from the vicinity of end parts in the direction of the rotation axis of the second developer carrier without contacting is supported on or integrated with the shaking members 31. |
