PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a program for controlling input without requiring switching of input systems and conversion modes by every input field by an operator. SOLUTION: The operator sets whether to perform KANA (Japanese syllabary) input or to perform Roman character input by starting an input system setting part 21 when Japanese input is performed from a keyboard 3. Thus, the set input system is stored in an input system storage part 23. When a data input processing is started, a character type of a changed input field is read from a preliminarily registered picture control information table 4 whenever the input field is changed by an input picture control part 22. An API function to specify a conversion mode to a KANA/KANJI conversion program 12 is further generated by combination of the read character strings and the input system of the operator stored in the input system storage part 23 and provided to the KANA/KANJI conversion program 12. |
