PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct an offset of a tracking error signal even with the high speed rotation of a disk by lightening an actuator movable part. SOLUTION: A reflection plate for reflecting a light is arranged on the actuator movable part, and the device is provided with a light emitting element irradiating the reflection plate with the light, a light receiving element for receiving the light reflected by the reflection plate, a light emitting intensity control means for controlling the light emitting intensity of the light emitting element based on an output of the light receiving element, a means for acquiring and storing an output level of the light receiving element in a state that the actuator is moved to the radial direction of disk by the prescribed moving amount, a means for acquiring and storing an output level of the light receiving element in a state that the gravity in the radial direction of disk is not added to the actuator, and a means for correcting the offset of the tracking error signal based on the output of the light receiving element and the output level of the light receiving element stored in a state that the gravity in the radial direction of disk is not added to the actuator.
