PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an off-line database marketing system capable of storing detailed customer information without connecting to a customer database such as a host computer at the point of time of sales. SOLUTION: In this off-line database marketing system, a terminal 1 has a function for reading and writing data from/to an IC card 3 for recording customer attribute data, used amount accumulation and purchase points, and a function for reading registered items from the customer attribute data recorded on the IC card 3 to record and store the read items in a collection customer database 2 and also updating the used amount accumulation and the purchase points while associated with purchase at that point of time, the customer database 2 has a function for outputting the stored customer attribute data in the form of being able to analyze the data, and the respective functions can be realized independently of host computers 5 to 7. |
