PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent first copying speed from getting low in the case of realizing the formation of an excellent developed image free from image staining and the staining of the back surface of paper caused by toner soiling on an image carrier by using liquid developer or realizing the improvement of maintainability that paper jamming is not caused. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with a cleaning device 34 sliding to remove the toner soiling on a photoreceptor drum 21 by providing a cleaning blade 41 contacting with/separating from the drum 21 in space from a drying nozzle 33 for drying the excess carrier liquid of the developed image to an intermediate transfer roller 38 around the drum 21. Then, the cleaning blade 41 is made to slide in contact with the drum 21 in specified timing while performing an ordinary image forming stage, and the toner soiling on the drum 21 is removed. |
