The atomiser nozzle has a channel (32) for injecting the liquid to be atomised, an atomizing zone or channel (46), at least one injection channel (34, 36) for the atomising fluid, and at least two channels (40, 60) for circulating the atomising fluid, branching from the injection channel(s) and rejoining the atomising zone or channel, dividing the atomising fluid flow into a number of sections between the channels. The nozzle also has a system (48) for forming a film of the liquid to be atomised, and an impact zone (42) for the liquid and atomising fluid.
