PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens driving device wherein a full protection action is obtained even in the next generation optical disk system. SOLUTION: The device is composed of a lens mounting part 8 that has a concentric circular difference in level with a laser beam passing hole of a prescribed opening diameter, an objective lens 9 that is incorporated in the concentric circular difference in level 8A so that the optical axis coincides with the center of a laser beam passing hole 10, and a protective member 12 that is attached through a buffer member 11 installed on the light-emitting surface side of the objective lens 9. |
