PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize and provide a developing device capable of enhancing maintainability and maintaining high image quality in various kinds of environment by gradually automatically exchanging developer in a full color image forming device. SOLUTION: In this developing device which is used for the image forming device using an electrophotographic system and in which two-component developer consisting of toner and carrier for developing an electrostatic latent image is stored, space in which the toner and the carrier to be supplied to the developing device are stored and a developer cartridge ejected from the developing device are arranged adjacently, then, the two-component developer is supplied to the developing device from the space in which the toner and the carrier are stored and is discharged to space in which the two-component developer discharged because of overflow from the discharge port of the developing device is stored. The height of the lower surface of the discharge port is varied according to a value detected by an environment sensor installed in the image forming device. |
