PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a covered plate for a storage battery to be easily and efficiently manufactured, increased in mechanical strength and improved in internal short circuit preventing. SOLUTION: Two separators 2 and 2 for covering both surfaces of the plate 1 are projected outward from both sides of the plate 1. Margins 2a, 2a and 2a, 2a in both sides opposite to each other in front and rear are thermally welded to reinforcing members 3 and 3 interposed in both side ends of the plate 1 and having the same or a smaller thickness with/than the plate 1, or fixed to the reinforcing members 3 and 3 by an adhesive. |
