PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for grasping what kinds of positions (display shelf) a large number of merchandise is displayed within the store to prepare merchandise layout information within the store and to reasonably manage merchandise within the store by using the merchandise layout. SOLUTION: This merchandise display layout preparation system includes a transmitting means 1 for transmitting a transmitting signal including the merchandise identification information of a plurality of pieces of merchandise arranged within the store from the vicinity of the positions the merchandise is arranged, a plurality of receiving means 2 installed at different positions within the store and for simultaneously receiving the transmission signal, and a calculating means 3 for analyzing reception signals from the plurality of receiving means to calculate the display positions of the merchandise. |
