PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide non-server type voice packet communication equipment and its communication method by which Internet telephone call is performed by using the same telephone number of a conventional telephone set. SOLUTION: The method for non-sever voice packet communication includes an address data retrieving step, an address data receiving step and a voice packet transmission step. At the address data retrieval step, an address data retrieval signal is transmitted to the non-server type voice packet communication equipment by a call originating sound through a public exchange telephone network. At the address data reception step, address data transmitted with the call originating sound by the non-server type voice packet communication equipment is received. At the voice packet transmission step, at least one voice packet is transmitted to another non-server type package voice communication equipment based on the address data. The non-server type voice packet communication equipment provided with an address data retrieval module, an address data reception module and a voice packet transmission module is provided.
