PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless motor having a flat structure, which can decrease the cogging torque and vibration, by increasing the mechanical rigidity. SOLUTION: The brushless motor has a stator 17 in which windings 17b are wound on teeth 17a, a rotor 16 which is magnetized in a plurality of poles in the circumferential direction, and a frame 11 which houses the stator 17 and the rotor 16. A load-side bearing housing 12, an anti-load-side bearing housing 13 and a fixing flange 14 are integrally formed on the frame 11, which furnishes an opening part to house the stator, opening in the orthogonal direction to a rotating shaft 16a of the rotor. The stator 17 is mounted on by inserting from the opening 15.
