PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge capable of successively informing a user of the residual amount of toner and the number of printing feasible sheets by accurately detecting the amount of toner in a toner storage part even under high-temperature and high-humidity or low-temperature and low- humidity environment, and toner used for the cartridge. SOLUTION: This process cartridge used for an image forming device forming an image on a recording medium can be attached to/detached from an image forming device main body and has a toner residual amount detection means capable of detecting the residual amount of the toner according to the change of electrostatic capacity between electrodes disposed in the toner storage part. In the process cartridge, the toner includes at least binding resin and a colorant, and its weight average diameter is 6.5 to 15.0 μm and the Carr jet index of the toner is >80. |
