PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable 'mobile IP communication', in an environment where IP networks using the plurality of versions of IP protocols coexist. SOLUTION: A terminal 10 for a traveling object is provided with a registration request packet generating means 17 for generating a registration request packet for registering the coexistent noticed address (IPV6 ) in a home agent 50 and registration request packet transmitting means 18 and 19 for encapsulating and transmitting the registration request packet, according to IP route control information with the IPV4 address of the terminal 10 of the traveling object as a transmission origin address, and with the IPV4 address of the home agent as destination address. A network repeater system 30 is provided with a transmission origin address converting means 33, for converting the transmission origin address of the IP route control information in the registration request packet into the coexisting care-of address (IPV6 ).
