PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor, whose usability after it is used can be discriminated from outside without opening the case. SOLUTION: A displacement-discriminating structure (31) which allows discriminating a displacement exceeding a predetermined limit of a brush (21), which contacts with a commutator (13) from the outside the case (3) closed with a cap (5), is provided with the motor (1). Displacement of the brush (21) exceeding the predetermined limit is discriminated from the outside. Since the discrimination can be made from the outside, it is not necessary to open the case for that purpose.
