<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CDMA receiver that can enhance a decoding gain with effective soft decision, while keeping the receiver small in size. SOLUTION: The CDMA receiver comprises a reception state detecting means, that applies inverse spread processing to a signal received through a multi-paths and detects reception state from demodulated symbol data resulting from synthesizing reception symbols of each path, a frame delay means that uses the result of the reception state detection to delay the demodulated symbol data, and a plurality of kinds of soft decision means that set an optimum mapping table to the detected reception state and apply symbol soft decision to the demodulated symbol data, and the receiver symbol soft decision to the demodulated symbol data, delays the demodulated symbol data, depending on the reception state detected from the demodulated symbol data and selects an optimum mapping table, to re-conduct symbol soft decision.</p> |
