PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte component having excellent durability and electric charge transmitting property, and to provide a photoelectric conversion element and a photoelectric chemical cell using above electrolyte component, having excellent durability and photoelectric conversion property. SOLUTION: The electrolyte component contains a quarternary salt electrolyte expressed by the formula (I). In the formula, Q represents an atom group forming cation of five or six-membered ring together with nitrogen atom, R1 represents a hydrogen atom or an substituent, R2 represents a substituent, n1 represents an integer of 0-5, X1 represents an ion, and n2 represents an integer of 0-4. When n1 is larger than 2, a plurality of R2 might be same with or different from each other, and at least one of R1 or R2 is a substituent expressed by the formula (II). In the formula (II), L represents a bonding group with two valence bonding the aromatic cation and V, where, V represents a carbonic acid group, a sulfonic acid group, or a carbonic acid group or a phosphonic acid group from which, proton is dissociated. |
