PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly know the circuit status, and thereby to quickly take counter measures. SOLUTION: An error detector 11 detects errors of received data, a main counter 2 counts the number of checked bits of the received data, an error bit counter 13 counts the number of detected error bits, an error rate calculation unit 14 calculates the error rate from these counted values, a determination part 16 determines whether the error rate exceeds a reference value 15, and if it is exceeded, it immediately indicates the error rate on an indicator 17 and executes required communication controls. Thus the counters may be reset also to change control to the inspection of following portions of the received data, and if the circuit status is poor, the period between inspections can be reduced. |
