<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in a conventional television receiver having a function to reproduce a video CD or the like, rating is not handled sufficiently, and in a video CD, even rating is not yet handled, and rating is conventionally set for each inputted source and for each contents, leading to a difficulty in using. SOLUTION: A reproduction device comprises a rating storage register 13, a set rating register 15, and a data extraction and storage section which extracts and stores contents rating information attached to a television signal. The reproduction device uniquely manages the contents ratings by means of the set rating register.</p> |
