PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To normally operate IFAX even on a network managed by an HTTP protocol. SOLUTION: According to an SMTP protocol, electronic mail is received from the IFAX by an electronic mail communication part 403, these electronic mail data are converted to HTML data by an HTML processing part 405 and on the other hand, the transmitting destination address of these electronic mail data is converted to the form of a URL by a URL converting part 406. In respect to this converted URL, HTML data are transmitted to the network by the HTML communication part 404 by using the HTPP protocol.
