PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a user being present in a localized distribution site and to distribute a variety of information to the specified user. SOLUTION: A user logging-in a PC of a floor of a distributing destination is specified on an information distribution terminal 2A for storing distributing information and making a distribution request; on PCs 4A, 4B, 4C and 4D, 4E, 4F, being arranged in the floor 3A and 3B of an office building, respectively, where each user logs in for use; and on a distribution control server 1A that is an information distribution apparatus for controlling the information distribution to a user in an office and connected through a network 5A being a LAN in the office. An electronic mail attached with an area-limiting information file being the variety of information from the information distribution terminal 2A is distributed to the portable terminals 6A, 6C, 6D, 6E possessed by the specified user.
