Two card cylinders (1.1, 1.2) with separate fiber supplies (7.1, 7.2) and rotating in opposite directions, feed material into a common mixing shaft (8) formed by seals (4.1, 4.2) and fitted with a separator (5). Airflow is controlled through guides (6). The positions of the separator (5), seals (4.1, 4.2), mixing shaft (8) and all other air or fiber guiding surfaces are fully adjustable. Preferred Features: The separator (5) can act as feed for an additional material feed (12). Suction devices (10) are located below the seals (4.1, 4.2). A central control unit provides individual control for feed rates, cylinder speeds, suction volume. |
