The drinks glass cover has an upper part (10) and lower part which are placed together. The upper part is made from transparent material and between the upper and lower parts is an insertion area (14) which surrounds the lower side and a cover wall (11) which has a surrounding rim (12) for connection to the glass. An elastic seal can be placed on the rim to make the glass airtight.
