A second valve rod is provided on the outside of a first valve rod, both rods being connected to the spray head (54), so that when the first rod is moved initially, opening the channel for the pressurised contents of the spray, the second rod is moved in the same direction. The second rod contains a throttle channel for providing a weaker spray intensity so long as the rod is in contact with the packing seal (50) for the spray head shaft (58). - The valve comprises a spray head with an outlet opening (56) and a hollow shaft, a packing seal containing a hole (62) for the shaft and a first valve rod. The shaft is connected to the first rod so that it follows the movement of the latter. The first rod has a ring-shaped valve seat at its top end and a slot in the rod wall extends in the rod length direction up to the top end of the rod, the size of this slot being altered in order to vary spray intensity. |
