The gearcase unit (1) is intended for the most various uses in connection with support structures and in a compact configuration; advantageously the gearcase unit includes two mounting surfaces, a lower (3) and an upper (12) mounting surfaces, being located at different distances from the axes of the drive and driven gearcase shafts. A further front mounting surface (6) may be provided at a flange of the gearcase casing which has through holes (11) and recesses (N). The gearcase unit (1) may be coupled to any type of motor (2) for usage in the industrial and agricultural field.
