The training apparatus for leg and arm musculature comprises a flat, stable, cushioned plate (1), 20 to 30 cm wide, to right and left edges of which several elastic rubber cords (2) are fixed. The ends of the rubber cords can be connected to the ends of a cushioned bendproof drawbar (3), approximately 80 to 100 cm in length, thus forming a training expander. The necessary force application for drawing apart the expander is determined by the number of rubber cords connected to the drawbar. In training, the cushioned plate is located in the lower back area and the drawbar is pressed away with the soles of the feet or the hands from the body. The drawbar has right and left end rollers (4), making possible arm and leg muscle training parallel to the floor.
