<p>An oil activated fuel injector control valve (102), which reduces bouncing of the spool (112) and an impact of the spool on an open coil (116). This eliminates shot by shot variations in the fuel injector (100) as well as increasing the efficiency of the fuel injector (100). The fuel injector (100) includes a valve control body (102), which has a vent holes (110), which prevent air from mixing with the working fluid. In this manner, the working fluid does not have to compress and/or dissolve the air in the working ports (106) prior to acting on the piston (124) and plunger mechanism (126) in an intensifier body (120) of the fuel injector (100).</p> |
