The training apparatus for the arm, abdominal an dback musculature comprises first and second support devices (2), on which a person supports with their arms. The support devices have a self-stiff frame (4) which comprises a first and second rod-shaped support component (6,8), together with first and second cross braces (10,12) which join the support components to one another. The first cross brace is provided with a cushioned location (11) for the shoulder area of a person. A third cross brace (16), which for adjustment to different arm lengths at predetermined positions between the first and second cross braces is releasably connectable to the first and second rod-shaped support components. This enables a person with their shoulder area on the cushioned location to support with their arms on the third cross brace.
