Process for utilizing the residual energy in thermoelectric machines comprises driving an aggregate with the residual energy from a thermoelectric machine, and chemically binding oxygen, which is added to the thermoelectric machine. Preferred Features: The aggregate is made from water and oxygen, hydrogen peroxide or an aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution. Hydrogen peroxide or an aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution is mixed with the fuel of the thermoelectric machine so that the machine burns the mixture. Isopropyl alcohol is oxidized at 90-140 deg C and 10-20 bar pressure, subjected to suspension hydrogenation, and converted into acetone and hydrogen peroxide. Before removing the hydrogen peroxide from the remaining isopropyl alcohol, the mixture is used as fuel for the machine and can be optionally mixed with another fuel.
