The hearing aid (11) has a moulded plastics plug provided with a venting channel (15,16) and containing an input transducer for reception of acoustic or electromagnetic input signals, a signal processor for processing and amplification of the electrical signals from the input transducer and an output transducer (18) supplying acoustic signals to the auditory canal. The output transducer also provides a control signal with a frequency outside the audible range, used for active venting of the auditory canal. An Independent claim for an operating method for an in-ear hearing aid is also included.
