<p>A joint for piping capable of being easily detached without being restricted by a layout around the piping by disabling the connection of pipes by a retainer when the male joint member of a mating pipe is not surely pressed and forming the locking operation of the retainer in a rotating type, comprising a rotary retainer (44) rotatably engaged coaxially and circumferentially with a female joint member (40), a plurality of claw members (50a) and (50b) capable of restricting the spool part (20) of the male joint member (42) in the state of being sufficiently inserted into the female joint member (40) installed in the retainer (44) symmetrically with each other, and cam faces (52a, 52b), on which the claw members (50a, 50b) are slidably moved as the retainer (44) is rotated, formed on the inner peripheral part of the female joint member (42), wherein the cam faces (52a, 52b) have curved surfaces to reduce an inside interval between the claw members (50a, 50b) less than the outer diameter of the spool part (20) of the male joint member (42) as the retainer (44) is rotated to from an unlock rotating position to a lock rotating position.</p> |
