The arrangement has an energy conversion device (1) consisting essentially of a pump chamber (2), a displacement body (3) movable freely within it and dividing it into two sub-chambers, an energy converter (7) and connecting lines (4,5) from the ends of the pump chamber to the energy converter. The pump chamber, the energy converter and the connecting lines are filled with a liquid pump medium (15). The energy conversion device is mounted in a base frame (8) so as to pivot about a pivot axis perpendicular to the pump chamber longitudinal axis.
