The corrugated pipe (3) is produced by continuously forming extruded pipe between pairs of tool halves. A male or female (1) connecting part is formed on at least one end of the pipe by external tool halves and forms a socket connection. An Independent claim is made for a process for production of a plastic pipe with a connecting part in which an extruded pipe is continuously corrugated by moving tool halves, and connecting ends are produced on the pipes by an interchangeable pair of tool halves.
