A slider (60) for a reclosable fastener (12) for plastic bags (B) comprises a body. The body includes a top (14), a first side (16), a second side (18) and a separation member (20) on an underside of the top (14). The separation member (20) is adapted to open and close the fastener (12). The first side (16) has at least one slot (40) for separating the first side (16) into at least two sections (70, 74). The second side (18) has at least one slot (41) for separating the second side (18) into at least two sections (70, 74). Each of the slots (40, 41) extends from respective ends of the first and second sides (16, 18) opposite the top (14) and extends through the respective first and second sides (16, 18). |
