<p>Disclosed is an information providing method and system and a character terminal. Various message or image pools are provided to a server, and messages, images or operation data selected by a terminal user are transmitted to a recipient terminal so that the terminal reproduces the messages or images or activates predetermined motions at an established time. The character terminal receives information on messages or image data, operations and a reproducing time, and reproduces messages or images corresponding to the information or performs predetermined operations. The character terminal comprises a speaker; an operation driver; a data receiver for receiving messages, images and a reproducing time and demodulating them; a storage unit; a display; a driver for performing predetermined operations; and a controller for determining the reproducing time and controlling the speaker, the display and the driver to perform operations corresponding to the demodulated data at the reproducing time.</p> |
