<p>A multiple insulation tester of a power cable comprises: a power unit for suppying a voltage for charging the power cable; a high voltega switch including a switch for supplying the voltage to the cable and stopping it, and a switch for discharging the voltage charged to the cable; a resistor including a very high resistance unit for measuring a deterioration time constant, a discharging resistor for discharging residual charges in the cable, a charging serial resistor, and a current measuring input resistor; a signal measurer for measuring the current and the voltage at the resistor; an input for selecting insulation diagnosis modes for diagnosing the cable's deterioration; and a controller including an operation controller for operating the high voltage switch and the resistor according to the insulation diagnosis mode, a signal processor for processing the measured data, and a deterioration determination unit for determining the cable's deterioration.</p> |
