An oral preparation characterized by containing 0.01 to 5 wt% of a sulfosuccinate surfactant represented by the general formula (1) and 0.5 to 10 wt% of an abrasive precipitated silica characterized by having a 50 percenti le (d50) of particle diameter of 5 .mu.m or below, a 90 percentile (d90) of particle diameter of 15.mu.m or below and an RDA value of 120 or above. (1) In the formula, either X1 or X2 is R1O-(AO)n- or the like and the other is M2O- ; M1 and M2 are each independently hydrogen, an alkali metal, or the like; R1 is C8-22 alkyl or the like; AO is C2-3 oxyalkylene; n represents an average number of molecules added and is 0 to 20; and B is -NH- or the like.
