ACRYLIC PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE TAPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition and a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape having an excellent adhesive strength to a polyolefin and improving the cohesive force and peel strength under a constant load at high temperatures at a high level in a well-balanced state. SOLUTION: This acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprises an acrylic copolymer prepared by copolymerizing a polymerizable composition consisting essentially of an alkyl (meth)acrylate having a 2-14C (preferably 4-10C) alkyl group and an olefinic polymer having polymerizable unsaturated double bonds at the terminals (preferably further containing a polar group- containing vinyl monomer), a pressure-sensitive adhesion imparting resin (preferably a petroleum resin) and an organic peroxide (preferably further an isocyanate-based cross-linking agent or an epoxy-based cross-linking agent) as a cross-linking agent. The pressure-sensitive adhesive tape uses the pressure- sensitive adhesive composition cross-linked with the cross-linking agent (preferably the cross-linked pressure-sensitive adhesive composition laminated onto both surfaces of a substrate).
