PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a strap for external application capable of imparting fixed feeling of an affected part, preventing horns (broken lines) penetrating into a carrier during production, as the strap follows the movement of the line during production and the movement during application, without spoiling fixed feeling during application and having high antiphlogistic-sedative effect. SOLUTION: This strap for external application is obtained by installing an adhesive layer on the carrier comprising a fabric having >=60 mm hardness by 45 deg. cantilever method defined in JIS L 1096-1999. The adhesive layer preferably contains an ingredient having pharmacodynamic effects. The adhesive layer is preferably installed to the carrier in a belt shape or an island shape.
