PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space saving type parking support device capable of accurately guiding a driving operation in parking without placing a heavy burden to a driver, and reducing a necessary space for a parking process. SOLUTION: The space saving type parking support device includes a yaw rate sensor, a parking support mode switch for setting a reference position of a yaw angle, a controller for specifying a vehicle position on the basis of the yaw angle, and a speaker for providing parking support information to the driver on the basis of a vehicle position specified by the controller. Information on a first position C1, a second position C2, a third position C3, a fourth position C4 and a target parking space Z sequentially reaching from the reference position A is provided by sound from the speaker. Furthermore, these first position, second position, third position, fourth position and target parking space are positions reached by minimum turning movement or straight movement of the vehicle.
