摘要 PURPOSE: An array substrate of a liquid crystal display device and a method for fabricating the same are provided to reduce the flickering and increasing the electrostatic capacity of the storage capacitor without decreasing the aperture rate. CONSTITUTION: An array substrate of a liquid crystal display device includes first gate lines formed on a substrate with a first oxidized metal layer, first gate and storage electrodes extended from the first gate lines, second gate lines and gate electrodes formed on the first gate lines and the first gate electrodes with a first metal layer, a gate insulating film(47) covering the gate lines, the gate electrodes and the first storage electrodes, semiconductor layers(49,51) formed on the gate insulating film to overlap the first and gate electrodes partially, first data lines formed on the semiconductor layer with a second oxidized metal layer, first source electrodes(53) extended from the first data lines and formed at an end of the semiconductor layer, first drain electrodes(55) formed at the other end of the semiconductor layer with a distance from the first source electrodes, second storage electrodes(67) overlapping the first storage electrodes via the gate insulating film, second data lines and second source and drain electrodes formed of a second metal layer and respectively overlapping the first data lines, and the first source and drain electrodes, an organic insulating film(69) covering the second data lines and the second source/drain and storage electrodes, and pixel electrodes(71) contacting the drain electrodes and the second storage electrodes via first and second contact holes(60a,60b) of the organic insulating film.
