PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the force acting on the inside handle supporting section of an inside handle device for vehicle door provided with an inside handle which has a locking notch and is rotatably journalized by means of a case attached to the inner panel of a vehicle door and a control section which controls the rotating end of the inside handle by coming into contact with the locking notch when the inside handle is operated for opening the door. SOLUTION: The locking notch 33A and a control surface 31A are set to that the resultant force of an operating physical force acting on the inside handle 20A and the reaction force acting on the notch 33A from the surface 34A in a state that the notch 33A is brought into contact and engaged with the surface 34A may become equal to or weaker than the reaction force. |
