<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem with displacement generation between the printing positions on the double sides in the case the medium length is changed according to a perfecting rewriting press, wherein a printing operation is executed on a first side of a medium from the upper side and a printing operation is executed on a second side from the lower side with the medium length fixed and the printing starting point determined based on the medium length. SOLUTION: The printing medium end part is detected by a medium detecting sensor disposed on a head part for measuring the length from the point whereat the printing operation for a first printing side is finished to the end part of the printing medium so that the printing operation for a second printing side is executed after conveyance of the measured length and the length double as much as the distance between the medium detecting sensor and the recording head from the end of the printing medium.</p> |
