PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To narrow the exclusive area of a screw member molding apparatus and to simplify maintenance/control. SOLUTION: The screw member molding apparatus has a fixed platen, a fixed mold 16 having a cavity 19 formed thereto, a movable platen 14, a movable mold 22, a rotary core 41 arranged in a freely rotatable manner so as to be allowed to face to a cavity space C and having a screw part formed to the front end thereof, a first drive part, a first transmission system for transmitting the rotation generated by the driving of the first drive part to the rotary core 41, an extrusion member arranged in a freely advancing and retreating state with respect to the movable mold 22 and extruding a molded article accompanied by the advance of the movable mold 22, a second drive part and a second transmission system for converting the rotary motion due to the rotation generated by the driving of the second drive part to linear motion to transmit the same to the extrusion member. Since a hydraulic circuit for allowing the extrusion member to advance and retreat becomes unnecessary, the exclusive area of the screw member molding apparatus can be narrowed. |
